World Peace Stupa – Pokhara, Nepal

I keep thinking I’ve written my last post on our vacation to Nepal, but keep feeling inspired to post more. Maybe because I take more pictures on vacation, or maybe things feel more special – probably both. We did a day hike up to the World Peace Stupa in Pokhara, Nepal in April on a hot afternoon before returning to Kathmandu. We rowed out in a canoe across the lake and then hiked up to the top. The hike was not long but practically vertical, so we stopped halfway for some cold drinks to enjoy the views.  The stupa definitely lived up to its name and was a truly breezy and peaceful reward. Highly recommended on your way coming or going from Pokhara.
