My job allows me to take food tourism to a whole new level. Sometimes I get Indian feasts in far off destinations, other times I get stuck eating masala potato chips in a airport for dinner. That’s what happens with travel – you end up with some big wins, but have little control over what and when you can eat. Take this awesome lunch I was served on a train to Shimla, India. Some parts of it weren’t bad, but I had definitely wished I had packed some snacks in my bag before leaving. In the least I thoroughly appreciated the packaging and marketing. Bon appetite!
